ABOUT

 About Alina

Alina began her journey with yoga in 2007 and has been teaching yoga since 2010.  She creates a nurturing and supportive environment in her classes and workshops. She assists students in becoming more courageous and balanced, not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. Alina’s classes are melodic, inspiring and accessible.  She thinks that when one can come into a space where they think less and feel more that clarity in intention and movement is amplified not only on the mat but in everyday life.

Alina grew up in Colorado where the mountains continue to be her playground.  She has a strong passion for travel and exploration.  For her, there  is so much inspiration to be drawn from the rhythms of nature. She is a forever student, not only of yoga but of life. There is a constant ebb and flow between the peaks and valleys in life and the journey between the two are what make this human experience inspiring and worthwhile.  Alina has found yoga empowers us to live with more gratitude, joy and ease and ultimately is an essential tool for being more fully present in both life's challenging and enjoyable moments.

About Rhythms of Nature Yoga

Everything in this universe is in a state of vibration from single atoms to planets themselves. In all vibration there exists a certain rhythm.  Nature moves in cycles from the phases of the moon to the ebb and flow of the tides, the change in seasons to the movement of planets around the sun.  So, in a way Rhythm pervades the universe.  We are not separate from the earth but rather intricately linked to it. Cadence is within us constantly moving breath, brainwaves and pulse through our bodies.

Yoga teaches us that our life journey also peaks and valleys, it transitions and plateaus.  Through yoga practice we learn to embrace the natural rhythms of life with a bit more grace and ease.  Connecting deeper to what is happening around us in the present moment.  We learn to ground in times of instability or energize and motivate when things feel stuck.  We are able to weather the storm and bloom when the sun shines back in.  There is much to be observed and learned from the Rhythms of Nature.  Yoga is there to support the cycles and nature is a source to connect back to our truest Self.

There is light and dark, sometimes the darkness just makes the light appear brighter.  life moves in cycles just like the seasons living in harmony with nature. the phases of the moon.

The mountains are my bones, the rivers my veins.
The forests are my thoughts and the stars are my dreams.
The ocean is my heart, it’s pounding is my pulse.
The songs of the earth write the music of my soul.
